Pretty much the entire height of the state from south to north, less maybe a few miles on either end. The nasty part is that there are no direct roads. You might try I-49 from Lafayette to Alexandria and then US 165 from Alexandria to the vicinity of Monroe. The I-49 leg is pretty good. After that, it is still a good highway but not controlled access. Every frimpin' little town is in the way.
