    Everglades Boat Tours Paint Ball Museum of Science (sounds kinda nerdy but they have neat exhibits) There are a million things to do down here do a search for things they are into in the yahoo local section or try AOL city guide for events

fort Lauderdale high school? anyone. I know......Your first thought is ....I am kidding You.......no way meet the teens on escaping days .....normally on fridays. have fun. check the next answer from Phil....

Well, since I don't know you or have any ideas what type of person you are, here are a few suggestions: 1. Fishing (partyboats out of Ft. Lauderdale) cost @ 25-35 for 4 hours of drift fishing. 2. Go to Grand Prix (go-carts and video games)...may be called Boomers now. Also in Ft.Lauderdale (actually Dania). 3. Rent a kayak (ocean type/sit-on-top) out of John Lloyd State Park in Dania, Ft. Lauderdale, or anywhere there is a beach. 4. You said besides the beach, I know...but, there is more than just sunbathing on our beaches down here...bike riding, walking, rollerblading, running,etc. are a few more activities to participate in.
