Where can I go skiing?

Hello, I live in Miami and I would love to go skiing in May 2009, where can I go? ?

  • I'm in Miami and I would like to go Skiing either in the Continental US/Canada Area or somewhere nearby that is not too far from Miami. Any suggestions for a long weekend in May 2009? Any suggestions would be great.

  • Answer:

I don't think May will work. May is Spring, mostly the second half of spring. I don't think you should try for May. Near Miami? It dosen't snow there, let alone stay. If you want to guarantee snow (Well, not guarantee, but you know) go maybe Maine/Canada/Alaska in wintertime (Dec 21 '08-March21 '09.) Just my suggestion.

I'm in Canada. I think May is too late even for here. Unless really really far north.

We went to Aspen CO and loved every second of it. Aspen has great attractions, from exciting nightlife to shopping We went to http://www.booking.com/city/us/aspen.en.html?aid=314962 nice and clean place, but feel free to choose the hotel that best fits your needs. Scoobit.com is a safe website I've used many times so far, and you can book on line. Have a great time in Aspen.

Haha, That is a little hard. May is Spring, and even in some places up south you can't go skiing unless it's man made. In which it's that you'll have to settle for, then it's not going to be anywhere near Miami, that's for sure.
