Is this a bad time to go to miami beach for a week end vacation?

I am planning to go on a vacay for 2 to miami beach to see ocean drive, biscayne bay, south beach, etc. But I was thinking that this may be a horrible time to go since school starts soon and everyone is going to get their fix in right before school starts. Any one have any experience with miami beach during this time of the year?

It's a good time to go to Miami Beach for vacation. Don't worry about the crowd Miami has miles of water with plenty of room for everyone. Search for another beach if the beach is too crowded. Also, there might be a smaller crowd because people are going back to there normal lives since school is about to start. And, this will be a nice way to end your vacation.
