Is the water too cold on Pacific Beach Ca to swim?

Will the water at Destin Beach, FL be comfortable to swim in mid-March?

I'm going on a spring break trip to Destin Beach in March, and I'm wondering if the water will be comfortable to swim in, or should I expect to just enjoy the view?

It'll probably still be cold. I went to Panama city around the same time last year and we couldn't get in the water...couldn't even go in the pool at the hotel. So just plan on enjoying the view. Hope that helps!

Yes. it is nice then. Water is perfect and always not rough. It is warm and awesome! I will be there in march as well. I have been many times in march and april and it is perfect weather!
