What is the best IMAX theater in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area?

• I am visiting some family in Miami, Florida and want to see Eclipse when it comes out in IMAX. I was wondering what IMAX theater (that will be showing Eclipse at midnight on the eve of June 29th) in the area has the nicest screens/overall best theater experience. **** Don't suggest educational IMAXs that only show nature movies

  I haven't been to any IMAX theaters other than the Museum of Discovery and Science. I know you said not to name an educational one, but it is different down here. The IMAX theater at MODS plays "nature" movies but ALSO play movies from theaters. I know that MODS will be playing Twilight on June 30th (sorry, not 29th) and it would be about $15 (without admission to museum, or $17 with admission) for an adult. The screen is 5 stories high, and it is an excellent theater. I think there is an IMAX in Miami, but I assure you that the Museum of Discovery and Science is your best bet. It is the most popular destination around here for what you are looking for. And if you're disappointed about the midnight showing, well - it will be very difficult to find a midnight showing in an IMAX theater anywhere. IMAX theaters usually play movies from normal theaters at least 1-2 weeks after they are released from average theaters. The fact that MODS is playing Twilight on the 30th (they just may have a midnight showing) is incredible because it is extremely rare for it to come so early. Whatever you do, get your tickets ASAP, because they will be sold out pretty soon. Tickets go fast, especially with all of the Twi-hards around here, haha. Hope this helps :)
