What are good vacation destinations in August?

What are some really good vacation destinations that are affordable?

  • What are great vacation places you really recommend? It has to be: -affordable - in the U.S (around Texas or Florida....things in the South) - fun and totally cool! We were thinking of Going to Disney World, but are there any affordable resorts there?

    Santa Fe is pretty during the summer. If youre lucky, youll catch it in a little monsoon(mid-summer). If you like nature, That's a good area. The tram to the top of the sandia mountain(then hike around up there) in albuquerque is a nice thing to do. If you like opera, there is an opera house in santa fe. Then you could also go to the museums around new mexico. Thats pretty much all you can do in New Mexico. Nature Stuff and museums. Oh, and off roading/4 wheeling.
