Do Florida has beautiful beaches like Cancun,Cuba?

  • Hello,i wanna knw if Florida beaches are beautiful like Cancun or Cuba ? Is there clear water White sand?Are the beaches in Florida dark water ? Are they polluted? Do FL Keys has turquoise water ?

    omg..the beach here in south beach which is miami beach is GORGEOUS...clear white sand...beautiful clear tropical turquoise clean water..nothing like up north where i am from in Jersey /Maryland..the first time i came to south beach, or even miami beach, i was in shock..at how BEAUTIFUL the beach and water are...and so i MOVED here!! thats now nice the ocean and beach are..but the waves arent big..thats the only negative..on the plus side you can see all the way down to your feet under the water..with no crustaceans in the water!!! on the gulf side, destin is BEAUTIFUL with nice sand and green water, but not as turquoise as here in miami beach !! this is the BEST!!

No, I've been to Cocoa beach Florida, and to be brutally honest, the beaches of Lake Huron Canada are much nicer than that of Florida. The sand we have is nice and white. the downside is too many muscle shells. Cocoa beach is still a nice beach, but the water isnt clear, the sands white, and their are too many jellyfish. I dont know about the Gulf side of Florida though, I imagine it would be nicer if their wasnt massive amounts of oil in the gulf.

If you want practically pure sugar white beaches in Florida, then visit the beaches from Pensacola, Fort Walton Beach, Destin. South Walton County, Panama City Beach. We don't have picturesque tropical vegetation here, but the water is clean and the sand is white.

Yes it does. Go to The florida keys, or destin area. Go to any beach on the GULF COAST. The atlantic side of FL does not have pretty beaches and does not have pretty water. The beaches on the gulf of mexico is the same water as cancun, etc. The poster who said FL has no nice beaches has no idea what they are talking about and there is no more oil in the gulf by florida. I will be in destin in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!

I was in Bradenton - Florida some time ago the beach was white like sugar. The Key's have some excellent snorkeling - you just have to do some research
