How's high school life in Spain?

Hows the nightlife in miami ?

  • hi yalll im thinking about moving to miami from nyc , im tired of all the hasstle and dirtiness of this city , its like a jungle , dirty , so busy , so fast , so COLD , this city simply sucks the life out of you , a whole year would pass and u wouldnt even feel it , and its so EXPENSIVE , i live in a room with NO WINDOWS , and i pay 600$ for it , and u definetly cant own a car here , and the nightlife is expensive (40-50 $ admission at the door with no drinks included --' ) , so long story short , i wanna move somewhere warmer and cleaner and cheaper , where i can get a nice room for around 400-500$ and be able to drive a car and enjoy the nightlife and was thinking about miami , miami is very famous for clubs and partying and was ranked number 1 cleanest city in america , i was searching on the internet and alot of people were complaining about the heat, traffic and rudness, latinos and how expensive it is , well i guess i can take the heat and i can deal with the traffic and rudness wont be a problem for me , latinos wont be a problem at all , I LOVE being around latinos ,i think theyre the coolest people ever , as for how expensive it is , believe me , its NOTHING compared to nyc so i think that wont be a problem , so basically my question is , is there anything you guys can tell me about miami that i dont know , pros and cons ?? and hows the lifestyle over there ? is it as fast and busy as nyc or is it more laid back and slow ?? and another thing , i lived in europe before and i litterly FELL IN LOVE with the spanish lifestyle , i loved how the spaniards knew how to enjoy life , i lived in malaga , madrid and barcelona and would do anything to live there again but i cant because of visas and paperwork and ever since i got here to the states ive been looking for something pretty similar , unfortunattly nyc doesnt have the same feel and vibe that i was looking for , so i would apreciate if somebody that has been to both places (miami and spain) answer my question and tell me if miami is similar , or worst or better lol , and also , would having a car be a problem ? and something that i have always wondered about is the weather , is it sunny all year long or only during the summer and rainy during the winter ? can i hit the beach in january when its freezing up north down there in miami ? hows the diversity down there ? i know its mostly latinos but how are they ? are they really as rude and angry as people describe them ?? are the clubs expensive ? in spain theres alot of free admission clubs or free until 2 am so is it the same way in miami ? is the music mostly hip hop/reggeton or do they play house/techno music as well? how are the women ? any information would be very helpful , thank you all

  • Answer:

You have Miami and then you have Miami Beach. You all get that confused. Miami is over the Bridge. The city. Yes its all a part of Dade County. The latinos that live in Miami the city come from all over mostly the Caribbean decent. Cuba, Dominican rep, and some Puerto Ricans too, They also have many South americans and Central Americans living there as well in the city. South Beach has lots of Cubans and people from Argentina. Yes there are some people from Spain living in South beach as well. South beach is mostly Europeans and there are some New Yorkers as well. Over the past 7 years its been attracting people from all over the world. I moved there 15 years ago. Back then it was mostly new yorkers in South beach but some locals too. For the comment above I get along with people from all cultures and I am a white guy. I also have lived in NYC before so i know what your saying about the small rooms for 600.00 a month. If you can handle NYC you will be fine in Miami. The nightlife in Miami is just like NYC its all about who you know. I never payed for clubs in NYC. I knew the right people. Same goes for Miami. Good luck! Yes you can hit the beach in January. All though it does get a little cool at the end of Dec and Jan but warms back up in Feb. Nothing compared to up north. lol. Yes clubs can be expensive in South Beach exp drinks but it depends on where you go.

Bottom line is unless you are tan everything about Miami is going to suck. They are not too accepting of pale people down there, including the women.

Miami is like a free Cuba. Even the police don't speak English. They are a lot of place to visit and have fun. Miami is expensive like any other big cities. You may want to live in the outskirt of Miami. Better learn the salsa if you want to impress and pack your Spanish. The heat index is 90-85 degrees. So amigo , bienvenito a Miami!
