Which parts of real-life Miami are most similar to the game GTA Vice City?

I'm visiting America in March/April, and I specifically want to stay in Miami for a couple of weeks and pretend I'm living in Vice City. I loved that game!! LOL So tell me which spots in Miami I should hang out at, which have the same look/flavor as the game? Or are there any locations in the game that are based off real-life parts of the city?
