What is the area code for Los Angeles California?

    804 is not even in California at all. Our area codes are: Los Angeles County- 213 (Covers Downtown and vicinity) 818 (This area code covers the San Fernando Valley, aka "The Valley") 562 (This area code is for my area. It covers Southeast Los Angeles County/Long Beach and part of the coastal portion of North Orange County, mostly Seal Beach) 310 (The largest area code covering from Santa Monica down to the South Bay. This is also the area code for Catalina Island) 424 (recently introduced as a overlay area code to 310) 626 (Covers the San Gabriel Valley and most of East LA) 747 (Not yet active. Activation in May of this year) This area code will be an overlay to 818. 909 (Eastern Los Angeles County and part of Southern San Bernadino County) Orange County- 714 (Northern and Western Orange County) 949 (South and Eastern Orange County) 657 (An overlay to 714) 562 (Also mentioned under LA County) I've included Orange County only because area code 562 overlaps into Orange County. There is no 804 in the Los Angeles area. Some of the area codes that I can think of are: 213, 310, 323, 424, 661, 818 Then 562 is the Long Beach area.
