Disneyland SEASON PASS!!!!?

Hey everybody, So I'm going to be going to Disneyland next week, and I plan to buy a park hopper pass. I know that while there, I can upgrade to a season pass, but I want to get the cheap So Cal resident one that has a million block out dates. My question is, if I go to the park, buy a ticket to get in and want to upgrade to a limited season pass during a block out date, do I have to pay extra? or will they make me pay a bigger difference between the ticket and the season pass?

You can use the value of your Park Hopper ticket to upgrade to any level of Annual Pass. All you will pay is the difference between the ticket in your hand and the cost of the Pass, regardless if you are getting it on a blackout date or not. In future, if you want to enter the park on a blackout date, you will be asked to pay an additional $40 for entry.
