What's the best bank in San Diego?

Whats a good resouce for finding a place to live in either LA or San Diego?

  • Going to be moving (with fiance) to either san diego or LA. We are going be adopting 2 dogs as well (APBT, and a small breed). Make a decent living, but dont want to pay too much. Can we get a house for rent in the LA or san diego area for under 1400 a month? Or is that price basically just for apartments? (yard is pretty important, however location is more important in that we do not want to end up in a bad neighborhood). PLZ HELP!!!

    Try craigslist. You just can't get a house here for $1400 per month. Not in a decent location, anyway. You're going to be hard pressed to find anything more than a 1BR apartment for $1400. The dogs will even make it harder. With all the bad press about APBT's, you will have to not only find a place that rents to pet owners, but some places exclude such breeds specifically. Be prepared for some sticker shock. San Diego might be cheaper than LA. Good luck.

I would try Craigslist. Unless you know each neighborhood, it is going to be hard to find the perfect one for you on the first try. It is my suggestion to find a half-decent place and use your first few months to scout the area and find a neighborhood more suited to you. www.craigslist.org and choose your city.
