Things to do in Los Angeles that are fun?

What are some fun things to do in Los Angeles area?

  • I am looking for fun new things to do in the Los Angeles area, any suggestions??

  • Answer:

Los Angeles, check out Disney Land and the Los Angeles philharmonic at the Hollywood bowl. SInce it's winter they're at the Walt Disney concert hall... go to the Hollywood and Highland mall on a friday and satruday night and check out all the performers on the street, go to the Museum of Tolerance and have dinner at Canters... check out Amoeba music on Sunset and then head down the street to the Hollywood Improv comedy club, where Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey started thier careers... attend a taping of Jay Leno or go to a Lakers game at Staples Center. What are you into? Check out the calendar section at LA. Times.com and you can see local shows, clubs, concerts... there's something f every interest. If you have kids in tow, check out this... http://www.calendarlive.com/family/425817,0,7540243.event it's a production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas... it's in it's 9th year, I liked it and my nephews liked it. If it's like, just you and your somebody special, and you're both kind geeky, check out the newly reopened Gritth Observatory! http://www.griffithobs.org/ Totally cool... and it's really high elevation with strong winds, you have no choice but to hold each other to keep warm while checking out the nighttime view. If you're into clubbing and don't mind the extra trendy environment, check out club Pearl http://www.la.com/nightlife/danceclubs/pearl/8670 It was fun for me and a bunch of my friends. if you like sports.. well I'll leave that up to you, but, never be afraid to call the Walk Disney ncert hall and Staples and ask what's the cheapest tickets int he house... you'll be surprised sometimes. GOod luck and hace fun... dont' forget to check out UCLA, it's beautiful, and they have a sculpter garden and gallery and it's totally neo gothic brick and grassy green. Not USC though, it's kinda ugly and in a dangerous neighborhood. GO to the downtown library if you're into books... and check out www.borders.com, they might have author signings...

There are SOOOOOOO many different kinds of things to do in L.A. Can you be more specific about your personality and what kinds of things you like doing? Definitely go to the Venice Beach Boardwalk and the Venice Canals-they are a bit tough to find, but ask anyone in the Venice area and they will tell you.
