Has anyone attended Stella Adler in LA?

I would apprecieate any feedback. Especially about their 2 yr program, which I am considering. Was it helpful to your career? Were there good links to agents? And would this program be good for a person who is NOT American a.k.a has no green card? Or is it just a waste of time and money and should I just study theatre/acting in my home country? (Canada)?

It went way down hill after Stella died. Now it is a small school with no real cachet. Her last successful student was Sean Penn. Stay home and save your money. LA sucks

The acting studios Adler founded still operate in New York City and Los Angeles today. Her method, based on use of the actor's imagination, has been studied by many renowned actors, such as Robert De Niro, Martin Sheen, Roy Scheider, Vincent D'Onofrio, Mark Ruffalo and Benicio del Toro, in addition to Brando, who served as the studio's Honorary Chairman until his death. Sounds like a good endorsement to me.
