What does LAX stand for [reffering to the airport in Los Angeles] 10 points for answer!?

All airports have 3 letter codes. Some like Philadelphia (PHL) easily make sense. Others like Orlando (MCO) have stories behind them. The X stands for International. It's not the only airport where the X stands for international. Jacksonville International (JAX) is the same.

It does stand for Los Angeles Int'l Airport. All airports use three-letter acronyms. Not all of them are intuitive and X is used frequently for International. Portland International is PDX.

I think they named it LAX because it makes you feel calm (reLAX) even though traveling there is stressful. Personally, I use LGB, which makes me feel a lot more lax.
