Where to pick up rental cars at the Los Angeles airport (LAX)?

All of the major rental car companies have free shuttles that will take you from whatever terminal where you land to the rental car company. Once you exit your flight, follow the signs to baggage claim. Once you have retrieved your luggage, you walk outside the doors to the curb area. There is A LOT going on here (LAX is the sixth busiest airport IN THE WORLD!), but if you look at all the signage, you will see a sign for rental car shuttle vans. You wait in that area. Be sure, though, to be alert and watch for the Dollar shuttle van. A lot of the time the traffic is really crazy and the driver may not notice you or may think you are waiting for another company. When you see the Dollar van, just wave to the driver to indicate that you are waiting for him. When you bring you car back to the airport, you will drop it off at the rental place. Make sure you keep that street address on file because you will want to put that into your GPS to get there. Once you have turned the car in, they will have a free shuttle to drop you off right at your terminal. Be sure to allow plenty of time!

you will go out to the center island and there should be dollar rent car shuttle bus which will take you to the rental center where you pick up the car the shuttle is free
