I don't get why you waste our time with these questions here. Most people here are hard-working, honest people. So asking us to support your illegal activities is rather poor form. If you want an "off the books" job, you stand out in front of Home Depot with all the amigos who are trying to get work. That's how it's done here.

Employers who pay under the table, often don't pay. They'll have the money next week, they'll pay the full amount later, blah blah blah. So good luck even finding something if you don't know anyone. CA is super strict about taxes and will go door to door to small businesses to count employees at small businesses.
