Where can I find Cajun Food restaurants in the California or Nevada?

Vacation in California, LA / San Fransisco, any ideas?

  • anyone know any fun spots for family recreation and/ or for food, hopefully local? Staying near LA but want to hang out in San Fransisco area. Also are there any good deals to go to LAX airport from ORD? like i was wondering of maybe food chains or items that you can't get really anywhere but California and maybe some nearby states... Also like farms and stuff... more on like food and def fresh food. So the questions are: 1) Great local places to eat (more vegan) 2) Good places to visit (not hollywood or disneyland or universal) 3) Good restaurants and Fast food places you can't really find anywhere else but California area. (this can be near LA) and pretty much anywhere else you think a family would like to visit. P.S- if obviousman is reading this, please answer! and help me!

    - Eat breakfast at Hobbee's near San Francisco. - Drive up and/or down the Pacific Coastal Highway - Go camping at Big Sur - Jog over to Lake Tahoe and / or go hiking at the Hot Springs just south of there. - Take a walk through the coastal forests near or around San Francisco and look on the ground for Banana Slugs (they're everywhere) - Check out the man who sings about the people on the street in front of Borders in Santa Barbara. - Avoid rush hour in/near L.A. It's like getting caught in a spider web, and some neighborhoods you could end up in would be the spider.

SF is so fun! We have a lot of things close if you want to drive too. Napa Valley, Monterey/Carmel, you name it! Hmm here in SF you can go to Fisherman's Warf, Ghiradelli Square, Coit Tower, Union Square Shopping, Pier 39 (the seals are there too) or catch a Giants/A's game r 49er/Raiders! :) My favorite thing to eat here is Dim Sum in China Town. It's called the City View on Commercial Street. OMG it's so good! Try to get there by 11 am though as by 12 noon there is a wait - enjoy!

places to eat? fishermans warf! visit? go to alcatraz island for tour! good restaurants? plenty in frisco! but! beware of the homos trying to sell drugs! la? only good places are tacos bells!

well i live in LA and dont worry about food, you can find ANYTHING out here, and i mean anything. as for places to go, your pretty much screwed if you dont like disneyland and others cause thats pretty much it. You can go to a museum , the beach, the movies, ummm shopping, yeah not much.

San Francisco AND LA? That's pretty frickin crazy man... SF has a crap load of places to eat... If you're in the LA area... go to this place called Sushi of Naples.... Best sushi in California.
