You can hardly call it winter. Today's temps are in the 70's. Average temps can be found here: http://www.laalmanac.com/weather/we88.htm We get about 10-20 days of rain per year. Typical rainstorm brings in less than an inch of rain. In other words, the weather is GREAT. It's why we put up with the smog, traffic, and occasional earthquake. 340+ days of sunshine makes up for a LOT.

Los Angeles is mostly desert, mitigated somewhat by the proximity of the ocean. Summer temps can be 80s near the water, to over 100 well inland. Spring is the best time of year there, with temps in the 60s and 70s, and cleaner air. Fall is variable between summer and spring temps, but that is when the legendary LA air pollution is at it's worst. Winter sees high temps in the 50s and 60s, with occasional rain. This is the only rain that LA usually sees.

Its approx. 75 F now at 1130. blue skies / still air. Our humidity tends to be low - 31% now - or dry since we are desert / Mediterranean climate. We wish for some rain - our rain season is usually over by Feb. 3rd year of continuous drought conditions. Economic climate is not very favorable at the moment either but it will improve.

Summer, hot and dry. Spring, cool morning warm afternoon. Winter, cold in the morning, almost freezing someting, but no snow. But the afternoon still warms up, unless it is windy. It rains more often normally around the end of fall and during winter. But every other 4 or 5 years, they get lots of rain. But out of all the states, SoCal have the best weather around.

If you watch a weather report for "LA" you will notice they give four temperature ranges: beaches, inland, mountains, valleys. There are big differences in temperature on a given day in these different areas, so there is no simple answer to your question -- it depends on what you like. If you like your temps on the high side, you'll like the San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, Antelope Valley or Inland Empire. If you prefer lower daytime temps with nice cool evenings, stay closer to the ocean. LA is a BIG place with lots of micro-climates and places where the air pollution is worse than others, too.

almost always sunny and warm..although sometimes it can get rainy...the valley is always 10 degrees warmer and the beach areas 10 degrees cooler than the city
