Do you know the city of Bergamo?

Hey guys! I want to know how long is it from Culver City to Westwood? And if Culver City is safe to stay at?

  • So, I will be attending UCLA next year and I will move to LA this fall. I wanted to know if Culver City is safe for me and my mom to stay at and I wanted to know how long will it take me from Culver City to Westwood (UCLA). I also want some suggestions of other neighborhoods in LA that is safe yet affordable to buy a 2-bedroom apartment. Thank you

  • Answer:

yes its great plus there is direct bus on sepulveda directly to UCLA [culver city line 6] some other suggestion i know UCLA owns some housing[apartments] along sepulveda and on keystone and they even have a campus bus servicing those locations plus more housing in mar vista at Barry and Venice so i would first try for ucla housing first might be easier then trying to rent from regular landlord when students do not have the best credit or even credit reports yet

Culver City has quite safe areas, and some rougher areas. It is about 6 miles from UCLA (which is not far by LA standards), it usually takes about 20 minutes to get there, depending on traffic. Look into taking the streets, like Overland, rather than the 405. The bus takes about 30 min to an hour from CC to UCLA, depending on where you live and how much walking you have to do to/from stops. Also, don't forget to add in plenty of time for parking and walking to class. Good luck!
