Which LA beach do ppl go swimming the most in summer time ?

Hi, I want to go swimming in ocean at one of popular beach in LA in May. But I don't know which one ppl go for swimming the most. I myself love Santa Monica beach, but seems like not many ppl swimming there? Also, any swimming beach at Long Beach area? Any idea ? recommend ? Thanks !! :)

there's tons of beaches to swim in along the Southern California coast, but yes I agree with you, just to look at the massing crowds at Santa Monica makes me believe that that's the most popular beach, unfortunately it's also one of the most polluted

Yeah, in the santa monica beach there is lot of people swimming when its really hot! Around july or august. There is a whole bunch of people there in the Santa Monica Beach. Go there you'll like it.
