is there a place to rent a private beach near los angeles? or is there a seperate (mens only) beach? i am looking to have a group party at the beach in the summer but am concerned about the modesty of the regular beaches.

If you are looking for a private beach where you won't see any semi-nude female bodies (which is what I understood from your question), you won't find any in SoCal. Beaches are public property. You may find private access, but anybody can walk along the water's edge, dressed as scantily as they please.

Sir! A nude beach that is famous, but at a bit of a distance, is Black's Beach. It is public. The Jonathon Club is private and has a beach right in Santa Monica. On the other hand, if you are Muslim or Hasidic Jews, I think you will have trouble getting away from women who are in states of undress. Technically, all the beach is public, right up to the tide line, as has been the subject of many epic legal fights.

California beaches are open to the public. Modesty and beaches don't go together. Any other beaches that are for men tend only to be for gay men.

The beach between the Santa Monica pier and the Venice Beach pier is for rent in the off season (which is now) but this being L.A., it is quite expensive....but who knows you may be rich....Contact the Department of Parks and Recreation...

Blacks beach in San Diego is nudist. But I don't know if that is for rent. Your best bet would be to drop this idea of renting a beach. Instead rent out a nudist camp or someones estate with grounds and a pool or two on it.
