Are there any good nursing schools online?

Does anyone know any good nursing schools in LA,CA?

  • Hey everyone right now I am on my 2nd yr in college, I go to Cal State LA right now and i am trying to get into their program. I heard they have one of the best nursing program out of all the cal states. The only problem is only selected few can go into the program. SO i want to have other alternatives just in case i don't get in. So far my g.p.a. is a 2.997. do u guys know any good nursing schools in the area? so far i plan to apply in some community colleges like santa monica college. With any school do u guys also think i might get into a good nursing program? I want to go for my BSN. With my gpa i want a good school to go into.

wow, I'm kind of in the same boat with you, currently I'm an unemployed teacher, so I'm thinking of going into nursing, but there are so many limited seats with such a high number of applicants, and what's worse no matter what school you go to there's a lottery to see if you'll be accepted into any nursing program. The best advice I can give you is just to stay where you're at, CSULA is an excellent school, other counselors have told me to apply to as many schools as I can because of the lottery terms, and them there's some hospitals like the Veteran's Administration in West LA who hire you as a NA or LVN and then they give you the opportunity of going to school to get your RN license, and they pay your tuition and time at school, but again, it's hard to get into any program.
