What are top San Diego attractions?

What are some attractions to visit when driving from LA to San Diego?

  • I live in West Hollywood and I'm taking a trip down to San Diego in a couple weeks. I'll be taking PCH and I was wondering what cool things there are to do on the way down. I already have Top of the World in Laguna Beach on my list. Thanks :]

    There is alot! I mean, you live in Socal dude, thats the best place. There is the aquarium of the pacific, disneyland, and seaworld, and if u have young ones, lego land. Those are all fun places.

You can hang out at the Harbor near downtown & tour their old ships. Walk Gaslamp in the evening or go to the clubs. Also Coronado is a nice place to hang out for a day, lots of small shops close to the beach, you can rent or bring your own bicycles to tour the island. You can drive across the bridge to get there or take the ferry. Balboa Park is close to downtown (North of downtown* head north on 6th Ave) Lots of museums, gardens, fountains, etc.. Mission Beach/Belmont Park: wooden rollercoaster, rides for kids, beach shops, hole in the wall restaurants, & steps away from the beach! La Jolla Coves/Beach. You can take kayak tours in La Jolla...so beautiful...so worth it! Very swanky shops & restuarants on Prospect Ave. if thats your style!

Hmmm, a new and interesting question. If I had penty of time, I would -Check out Newport Beach Fashion Island -Have lunch at Ruby's -Stop at the Shake Shack by Crystal Cove -Enjoy the vista Point by Camp Pendleton -Have a couple tacos at Juanita's Taco Shop on Coast Highway in Encinitas -Stop at a surf shop or two -Visit Legoland if you have young kids -Have breakfast at the Potato Shack in Leucadia -Explore the coves of La Jolla Have fun!
