Where are all the dog friendly places in the Southern California?

• I am currently looking for places that are dog friendly (meaning I can let my dog off leash and not worry) and a place for dogs to be able to swim. I am located in orange County, and you have NO idea how hard it is to find a place where dogs can swim in lakes, or a place to let them off leash. The typical dog parks here are nothing special, so anyone know of an amazing place?

  Hi, If you go to this website, you can find dog-friendly places (dog parks and beaches, pet-friendly hotels and restaurants, etc.) all around the country: http://www.wagworld.com/ There are a couple of search fields at the top, in which you can type in specific things you would like to find in specific locations. But if you just leave the first field blank and type in your location (i.e. - Los Angeles, CA) in the second field, it will come up with the all the dog-freindly results for that area on an interactive map. If you search for "off-leash dog park" or "dog beach" in Orange County (or specifically where you're from, i.e. - Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, etc.) it'll come up with results in your area.
