Shuttles from Anaheim/Disneyland area to LAX?
-
I've never even taken a taxi, so I really have no clue as to pricing or anything. If a taxi would be cheaper, let me know! ANYway, if you know of any (reliable) shuttle services that pick up from a hotel (that I would designate) in Anaheim (near Disneyland) and go all the way to LAX, please share. Cost matters. Thanks!

Answer:
I would avoid the private van type shuttles as the fares are high and the service unpredictable. For a cost effective trip I would recommend taking the Coach USA airport bus between Disneyland & LAX which has a one way fare of about $20 and runs once an hour. If you do not have much baggage public transit would be a great choice and an even better value in which you could take an MTA #460 bus from Disneyland to the Norwalk Metro rail station and then ride a Green line train to the Aviation station where a free "G" shuttle will take you to the various airline terminals. Total cost via public transit is only about $2.50 each way.

Some Disneyland area hotels offer free shuttle service to Orange County Airport (SNA), but not to LAX, the distance is too great. Likewise using a taxi would be cost prohibitive for the same reason, it's too far. Your best choice would be on one of the for hire shuttle companies such as "Primetime" or "Super Shuttle". It's not that expensive using a shared ride van. Most companies advertise a fare in the $15-20 dollar range. It is possible to use public transportation, but it takes several hours, and do you really want to be lugging your suit cases on and off buses & trains?
