Why do Angry, Bitter Canadians like to post in the Los Angeles Forum?

  • Asking questions such as, "Why do some Americans think a Canadian would want to move to the US?" Answer: Because they ASK every day! But why the bitterness? And now he's bringing his Canadian Troll Friends. Seriously, I think he has anger issues. Or more like subscriptions, actually. I'm thinking they're just some childish older teens. Looks like we're going to see a lot more of them unless we band together and start reporting these trolls. Frankly, I've got nothing against Canadians in general. Most are very nice. But these folks seem to be the exception that proves the rule.

    This has absolutely nothing to do with LA but rather is all about some poor sad sack who feels better only if he can relate that something is lower than he. I have lived in LA for a long time, and there are other cities where I would love to live for a while -- Paris, London, and New York -- yet Los Angeles has that certain je ne sais quoi that makes it uniquely wonderful!

It must be nice to have so much free time to waste, because that's all it is if one isn't helping, a waste of time. But I guess some people aren't so lucky to have 75' sunny weather in January and live a nice life. Maybe it's a case of SAD. Light therapy can help with that. (And coming out of mom's basement once in a while.)

Well, it's awfully cold up there right now. And since they can't go out and play they have to occupy their time with something. - But, yes, I realized Mr. Rex must not have a job since he considers it "free socialised" medicine.

Now now. Not all us Canadians are down on LA. But then I did live in the OC myself for 9 1/2 years (legally) and I only moved back to Canada in 2010 to take care of my elderly mother. I'll be back someday because this Canadian does love LA. Heck, I used to answer almost as many LA questions as Obviousman and all of them in a positive light. I just don't now as it would be hypocritical of me to when I don't live there. But the reason why most people say nasty things about LA is because they are jealous of what they cannot have. I was only able to live in greater LA myself because I an an electronics engineer and I was able to line up a job before moving there. And I had some of the very best times of my life because of my time in LA.

He wants us to see it in his point of view, yet he doesn't understand that not everybody shares similar points of views as he does. And considering the fact that we're saying no, he just doesn't seem to take no for an answer, and is still throwing a fuss about it until he gets us to change our minds, and hopefully see things his way. I have a good feeling that this individual has never resided in Los Angeles, let alone the United States. There's a good chance that it's some angry 16 year old who's only mad because he can't live in California, so he's giving a "If I can't have it, nobody can!" attitude, and does so by trying to lure individuals in this forum away from their plans on wanting to move to LA, by trying to convince them to live in Toronto instead. Yeah, if Los Angeles is so bad, then why do I want to leave San Luis Obispo County to move down there (well.. Orange County) ?

Its not just Los Angeles, but they're also posting in Miami, New York, Dallas ect too Maybe some of them just hate us? Its ok if they dont like American's (I hate us too) but they dont really have to rant about it everywhere. @All the people saying people are jealous of LA- Why the hell would someone be jealous of LA? Maybe if you lived in a boring state like Utah(no offense to those). New York City and Miami are 10 million light years better than LA will EVER be!! They are the only 2 cities I have EVER been jealous of. I have lived in LA and it is nothing worth crying over, if I had never of lived in LA I wouldn't have sit here wishing I did. Its just not that great as it seems......I found it rather irritating and boring.
