What to do for Spring Break in Los Angeles and Long Beach?

I'm going to LA and Long Beach CA for spring break with m boyfriend and looking for fun stuff to do. Good places to shop? Great places to eat? Any suggestions welcome.

Good places to shop without breaking the bank is the Beverly Center on LaCienga & Beverly in West Hollywood (WeHo) the garment district downtown, and the 3rd St Promenade in Santa Monice ( if you want a more traditional mall ). PF Changs on Sunset is good place to eat where you can see and be seen. Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles, TommyBurger are both LA faves. San Pedro is where you can overlook Long Beach harbor and see all the ships coming and going from port. The Queen Mary in Long Beach is now a hotel (it is supposedly haunted) is also a must visit. Oh I could go on & on....let me know if you want more

My suggestion is to go downtown and check out Little Tokyo and while your at it go on in and also check out MOCA. Lastly, two more places you should go is Venice Beach and Santa Monica for relaxation and fast food-free places at a moderate price.
