How hard is it to get into a nightclub in Las Vegas with a fake ID?

Almost impossible in Vegas..... and most places will scan ALL IDs..... and if they do ...its gone...I wouldnt even try.

Almost impossible--bouncers are pros's. They have seen more fakes than the FBI. Will probably destroy it if you offer it to them. Strict because their license is at stake and no one person is worth enough for a major club to lose their license. I would suggest you go play somewhere else for three years and come back when you are 21yo [Unless you are a big big celebrity??!!}

Because liquor is a BIG business in Vegas, the name clubs (Pure, Tao, etc.) are VERY strict about IDing and very RARELY do fake IDs fly. Most places these days scan them and if you get caught with a fake, at the very least you'll be embarassed when you're sent away - but if you make a scene,. you might get arrested. Remember this - they may be muscleheads, but the doormen aren't stupid - they're trained to spot a fake id.

Fake ID may get you in but realize that the prices inside is very high. And yes they can scan the ID. They are NOT lenient because they do not want to lose their alcohol license.

As others have stated don't even try the fake ID in Vegas. Clubs are cut throat to get into as it is...if you look underage the bouncer won't look twice @ you or waste his time. If you do happen to get his attention he WILL scrutinize the ID and they WILL know a fake from real (or if it's you or not) if you happen to get caught..well you pretty much screwed the pooch :( If you I'd try to get my fun @ the pool since you can't go out clubbing >sorry to rub it in :( And not that I'm promoting underage drinking, but you could probably have an easier time sneaking your own beverages in there and it wouldn't be so blatently obvious that you are only 18. I really don't know if you need to be 21 or only 18 to gamble so that's an option. If it's 18 you could try drinking in casino...find an empty or almost empty glass. Pick it up and walk around with it, when the cocktail waitress sees you with a glass she might just assume it's yours and you've been drinking. When she asks if you need another you can then order your own drink ;) be sure to tip and try getting same waitress :) I'd save the Las Vegas vacation until you are truly old enough to enjoy...that is legal and 21!!!!

In Clubs? Not easy. Aside from being trained to spot Fake IDs and judge age, bouncers have high tech equiptment to scan IDs to find out of they are fake. In you are a celeb, or a supermodel maybe you get in without being checked at all. Other places might be easier. Less popular bars, off strip casinos, liquor stores, ect ect. Those places are more likely to let a fake ID go.

don't be stupid, they scan u now at most places and the doorman and bouncers are not stupid, they have seen it all. and can spot and under ageie QUICK, ...Vegas is really strick, they do not play games, they can't afford to lose their liscence and get into problems with underage kids. Business is to valuable for that crap. Stay home or go to circus cirus....

They are very strict, you'll be slapped in handcuffs the second you try it. Trust me, one of my friends had an ID that looked real, and got past a lot of people in locals casinos. But clubs on the strip? Not sure what they do, but they know. He got arrested, and was actually banned from the place.

they will know right away if you go to a popular club or bar.
