For people living in las vegas is there anybody that like living in vegas im moving there in about 6 months?

Las Vegas is a great place to live in if you have the money. If you do not have very much money, look out. Las Vegas has been hit particularly bad by the recession. If you need a job, good luck getting it, 15% of Las Vegans are out of work, on top of illegal immigrants that are all taking jobs. But, if you have money and a job, Vegas is a great place to live in.

im 19 (going on 20 in a couple months) and honestly....this town is ****. i've lived here for 6-8 years (traveled a lot during the first 2 years for stupid crap) and its boring. the strip gets boring cause its the SAME thing every night. there's a lot of strip clubs so i guess thats a plus if your into that stuff. i remember a few years ago there was a panther or some sort of big cat let loose into our neighborhood...that was the last highlight of the past 6-8 years. unemployment is high here, you cant even get a job at mcdonalds and walmart. its THAT bad. so you pretty much have to have a job already out here, **** load of money, and not have a gambling addiction cause that is the #1 reason why people go broke out here. and gas is going up almost every day. we are almost at $3 again so gas is not the prettiest thing in the world here. oh...one thing that i always liked to do was go up to mt. charleston or go to red rock. its peaceful, colder in the mountains, and smells better. also every first friday is an artshow called...well first friday. if your into art and stuff i suggest you go there, its free to get in so use up all the free stuff as you can! so thats a plus i guess. haha. good luck to you. hope your experience is a LOT better than mine was.

Unless you have current experience in customer service or hotel industry. It will suck because nobody will hire you! Unemployment rate at 15%. Its mostly a old fart retirement land and tourist galore land on the strip. Mostly a minimum wage town unless you got your college degrees. Minimum wage at $8.75. I heard from friend old folks are the worst tippers and the foreigners are a big pain in the ***. Then you have the traffic. Where do these car come from? They clog up I15 then amazlingly thin out a mile out of Tropicanna if your heading South. Almost anybody with a car sooner or later help clogg up the strip on Friday and Saturday nights. Good thing I see some early morning is tourists jogging up and down the strip.
