Does the bellagio in vegas run specials on suites or is there a way to get a discount on suites?

Suites are normally not discounted. They go for full price or are given to high rollers for free. No in between with those accommodations.

Suites are rarely if ever discounted, even with today's economy they are generally treated like luxury items that are almost always sold at "retail price" if not at a premium. Your best bet would be to book a standard room and then ask for a last minute upgrade when you check-in. If they have suites empty, that is about the only time they will let one go for less than the published rates.

It's rare to see an advertised special on a premium suite, especially at a place like Bellagio. Your best bet is to ask if there are any upgrades available when you check in. It won't be free, but you may be able to get a discounted rate that way. It's not a guarantee though, but worth trying.

There are plenty of promotions on http://www.smartervegas.com you should check there among other places... Usually the deals they have don't include suites just the regular resort rooms. But these rooms can be considered suites I guess if you compare them to other resorts on the strip.

I walked through Bellagio last week and in my opinion it's turned into just another average property. Definitely stay at Wynn or Encore instead.
