What are the best hip hop clubs in Vegas?

What 's best hip hop clubs in Vegas? NO POP OR TECHNO PLEASE only clubs that play HIP HOP/ R&B ALL NIGHT?

  • It's my first time going to Vegas this Thursday and I want to have a bIast! When you list the nightclubs you suggest can you state which nights I should go on and also if you could indicate how to get on the vip list please. I heard of Poetry is real nice but I also heard it's shut down is this true?

    There are no clubs that do that. However, Jet does have 3 rooms and each room plays different music each time. If you want to stick with just those two types, that might be the club for you. Poetry is closed, and has been... Eyecandy is a 'lounge/bar' in the middle of the casino at Mandalay Bay...not a 'club' really...but if you're on a tight budget...Fri/Sat might be 'okay' there. Hip-hop and hip-hop 'friendly' clubs are limited in Vegas...the only ones that were EXCLUSIVELY hiphop...closed, and weren't open long. Your BEST hip-hop music spots are: Cadillac Ranch in the TownSquare, strangely enough. Crown nightclub inside the Rio Hotel/Casino...your best option...is primarily hiphop!

When I was at Eyecandy at Mandalay Bay, I heard Ludacris, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, and Busta Rhymes among other hip-hop stuff. This is the only genre I heard while I was there, so I can't say if this is all they play or if I just came during the right time (it was a Friday night). But it's a small club with a nice setting. Maybe give this one a try. Sorry, not sure about VIP lists or Poetry.
