Can you buy Illy Coffee in the USA?

No tea /coffee making in hotel room at Las vegas. can I buy a cheap kettle

  • Many of the hotels don't supply tea/coffee making facilities in their rooms. Is there a shop that I could buy a cheap kettle and would the room have an electrical socket I could plug it into. I can't take one with me as USA have different plugs to what I use.

  • Answer:

Your right the Casino Hotels in vegas do not have any tea/coffee or bar fridge in the rooms its so you have to out and spend money. But you can go and buy a small kettle from a lot of places,Camping shops,Kmart, Target and if you but an adaptor to suit the USA it will still boil it will take a little longer because they have lower voltage but it will still work.

It's easy to say go to Wal-Mart or K-Mart, you don't have a car to get around. Then how on earth can you get there, not worth taking a taxi. Down on the strip near Circus Circus (across the road) is ROSS dress for less, the ones off of the strip sell clothes & house hold goods (so i'm thinking the one down there should too). I picked up a small kettle the other day for $5.00, if they don't. There are 2 Drugs stores down near the Paris or a little past it called Walgreens, they should have one. At Walgreens you can pick up your tea/coffee & milk/sugar/creamer. You can also pick up that stuff from 7 Eleven also, but your pay a little more. So your better off getting it from Walgreens, have a great holiday................ P.S yes there will be out-lets to plug it in to, all hotels have irons and hair dryers in the room.

Yes you can buy one if the hotel doesn't have one in the room. There are plenty of electrical outlets in the rooms so ask the taxi driver to take you to a walmart and purchase a cheap coffee pot. Oh don't forget to bring or buy coffee. We stayed at Bally's and we had one. Some may not provide them.Food and coffee is rather pricey there so I would want one too,I can;t remember a discount store near the strip but the taxi driver will know where one is.

I think that Wallgreens on the Strip had small kettles or of course you coudl just by an adapter at the airport in your country and bring your travel kettle

There are shops on the strip (supermarket type) which would def sell a kettle for little cost. I think its forgotten that people do actually live in vegas so need all the normal stuff and shopping. Only you would probably need to buy long life milk or powdered stuff as not sure if all hotel rooms have a mini fridge.

Every hotel room i have seen for the past 10 years has a Coffeye maker. you need to ask your specific hotel if they have one and if not if you may use a kettle in the room. no one here can answer for the hotel...they can only guess. Yes the rooms have outlets, and i'm sure you could buy a cheap kettle at Walmart or such...but ASK the hotel.

You could get a tea kettle, there are several malls on the strip and a Target close to the strip. With the proliferation of coffee shops and restaurants, I don't understand why you would want the hassle. Vegas is a 24hr town, getting a cup of tea is a no-brainer.
