Las Vegas Meeting / Conference Venue?
-
Hi, I'm currently looking for a professional and accessible meeting / conference venue in Las Vegas for 150 delegates, classroom style, for 2.5 days. We will be travelling fro the UK to run the event so some audio visual equipment will be required and available if requested. I have come across quite a few venues, but they seem far too big. I understand a majority of the venues in Las Vegas are used to accommodating larger events and this may restrict our options, but we would like to avoid frustrating our delegates with 20 minute walks to the meeting area. We will have visitors from across the world so accessibility to nearby accommodation (possibly at the venue), the airport and general ease of travel arrangements is important. Do any of you wise folk have any recommendations I could look into please?

Answer:
The Las Vegas Conference and Visitors Bureau will be able to help you. Fill out the RFP for your conference and they will help you find places that meet your requirements. http://www.lvcva.com/meetings/index.jsp - Select RFP from the far left on the main tool bar.

Please accept my apologies for not seeing this posting sooner. I have a "perfect" space for you, based upon your stated preferences and objectives. There is a venue "close to the airport" (less than a mile away), that is 1 1/2 years new, has a 'gorgeous' and incredibly comfortable theatre with state of the art projection/presentation equipment and seating 190 in true "theatre seating"...and yes, they provide on-site catering options as well if you prefer to 'not' have your attendees venture out to local restaurants...but there are several 'nice' dining venues...within a couple of miles miles away. It is NOT insided of a hotel/casino, but a professional learning facility that is less high-profile than the casino resorts are...however, it is the 'premiere' learning facility of its type in the world. I'll happily assist you with 'discovering' this facility and any other needs you may have while in Las Vegas.

The new Cosmopolitan on the strip has a good number of meeting facilities.

There are several huge convention areas but the issue is many are booked way in advance. I would suggest you contact Mandalay Bay Events Center or Sands Event Center or the Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Authority
