Which Cirque du Soleil Show should we see?

  • I need help deciding which cirque du soleil show to watch in Vegas while we're there. I am going withmy husband and it's our first time there. He wants Zumanity but I am worried it'll just be a topless show and not as acrobatic as the others. Anyone seen it and have thoughts? Which show is definately worth the money? Also heard of La Reve or something? Is this a good one even though it's not Cirque du Soleil?

    Mystere at Treasure Island has been voted over and over as the locals choice. I loved it, laughed throughout, was fasciniated, etc. There are no bad seats at TI and the prices are supposedly the best at 60-80-100. Love at Mirage is very good, a tribute to The Beatles but though I have not gone, the parts I have seen highlighted were not as good as Mystere. Ka at MGM Grand is more of a dream and many people think too hard to understand there is a story there. O! at the Bellagio is a water version of Mystere. Zumanity is defintiely an adult show but not a topless show, with the same cirque movements as the others. And, LaReve (meaning the dream and based on the Piccaso picture of his mistress) at Wynn was developed by the original artist for Cirque and Steve Wynn but is not a cirque show. It has been revamped several times and locals seem to enjoy it. You can read about the Cirque shows by googling it and clicking on Las Vegas. I love all their shows- but to disspell any myths that people feel about topless shows- it isn't what you think. The shows are so artistic that the topless becomes part of the shows and isn't sexual in nature at all. I loved Ka and Zumanity. I wanted to work backstage at Zumanity, would have been great too.

My husband and I saw Zumanity. It was really good, not just a topless show. The music and the dancing is great. You won't be disappointed.

I wanted to see zumanity, But I'll end up seeing O soon. Anyways, CDS is not slutty or "just toplessness" Since its a more adult themed show, of course it will have a bit of nudity, but I've seen parts of the show online, and there is just as much acrobatics as every other show. I've heard good things about this show anyway. On the plus, you wont be seated next to a whinning baby there haha ;) have a nice time

My boyfriend has seen a few of their shows, and he keeps wanting me to see Mystere. It is the cheapest Cirque show in Vegas, but he says it is definitely amazing. It's also good for kids so you know there won't be anything risque in there. From what I can tell, they wear animal-type costumes kind of like on the Lion King play. It is at Treasure Island. Have Fun!
