What are fun places and fun things to do near circus circus hotel las vegas?

you can go to slots of fun cheap gambling tables and cheap snack and drinks. There is the Duece (bus) $7.00 for 24 hours which can take you to downtown which is cheap and you have better chance of winning on slots and tables. The best show near there is Phantom of the Opera which is at the Venetian, go to the website for discounted show tickets.

The rides on top of the Stratosphere are pretty fun. Hang out around the main Strip area, cuz Circus Circus is in a seedy location.

Go see some shows at Stratosphere. Get their package deal with dinner, show, 2 drinks and a ride to the top of the tower. The view is AMAZING at night. Don't do it during the day. :) There isn't much around Circus Circus. In fact, they have recently imploded a couple hotels nearby and plan on doing the same to others that are left in the area. Take the bus up to Treasure Island (or walk the mile). I love that area of the strip. There is the mall, Wynn, Mirage, Palazzo and Venetian all right there by Treasure Island. :)

Circus Circus is run down, location is ok but youll have to travel to most other places. take the buss. Slots of Fun is right by your hotel. Has 1.99 HUGE hotdogs! and deep fried twinkies and oreos! cheap gambeling tables and beers. hit that up first then go check out other places.

That area sucks, so does the hotel itself. Take the short cab ride down to the center strip area. Around Harrahs/flamingo. From there you can do whatever you want. There are alot of great bars/nightlife and things to see.
