Can I make a reservation with no credit card?

I have no credit / debit card, but I would like to make a reservation for a luxor hotel in vegas?

  • Does anyone have any suggestions or know of the luxor reservation policies? I could possibly use a parent's credit card to make the reservation, can i use ? Does anyone know if the luxor accepts cash at check - in? or Can i send money with bank account Thanks in advance

    "Get a green dot card. They have the master card and visa preppaid at the wall greens, k art, walmart. etc. you need a valid debit card to do this.

Do not buy a prepaid card to reserve a hotel, wont work, and you wont be able to cancel the card. Simply get a bank account and a card, if they put the visa logo or mc logo on your bank card your fine, if they make it only a debit card, taht wont work either. You can cancel the bank account anytime if they give you the debit only card.

You can't make a reservation at the Luxor without a credit card, period. You can make one using your parents credit card but your parents have to be there at check-in. They won't take a cash deposit because your deposit is held for incidentals and there is no way they will know how much damage your are going to make to their property. Call the hotel and ask. My uncle called and reserved 2 nights comped on his account. I checked in, have the same last name. He was not with me, they took a copy of my license. I dont have a debit/credit card either and my brothers was maxed out, so they let me pay the $100 deposit in cash. I would have never known you could do that, but they did.
