Place to watch MLB playoffs in Vegas?

  • Going to be in Vegas for a gaming show Oct 4th-7th and wondering where a decent place to watch the games would be? I'm there a few times a year and have grown stale to the glitzy stuff in Vegas. Looking for a basic rowdy few bucks a beer place. We'll be at Harrah's on the strip so looking for something walking or tram distance. Thanks!

    Our favorite is the Las Vegas Hilton http://www.lvhilton.com/hotel/casino/sportsbook Drinks are free, but it's not a rowdy locals kind of place. I think you're looking for some place like P T's Pub, but that's not within walking distance of the strip. They have the games on at the 777 Brew Pub at Main Street Station and we have a lot of LVA member meets there. Well basically every hotel has a sports bar and sportbook. Ussualy you can get great deals on food and drinks in these places. And they tons of TVs all around. Baseball doesnt get quite the rowdy crowd that football does in Vegas, but during the playoff games it should still be hoppin a little in the sportsbooks.

I recommend the sports book at MGM or Mandalay Bay. There is a free monorail on the best site of Strip, riding from Monte Carlo to Aria to Bellagio, and easy walk to other casinos
