What's a good price Spa suite in Las Vegas?

  • Hey guys. My girlfriend and I plus 2 other couples are planning a trip to Las Vegas in the middle of May. We are traveling with 6 people, but will only need 3 rooms. I've done some research for rooms in Las Vegas and I've been there about 3 years ago, so I have somewhat idea. But we are looking for a room that has a spa that could fit at least 2 people, a room that is big enough for us 6 to "pre-party" in one of our rooms, and a hotel that is fun and cool for the ages between 25-35. From what I've research the Luxor spa suite is decent and cheap and also New York New York. I've personally stayed in the celebrity spa suite at the MGM, but didn't find it amusing to me cause it was kinda odd to see a box tv and my room was a little dirty. We would like a spa that is by the bed or NOT in the bathroom to have that "romantic" time. I've look into the Tropicana spa suite, but right now that's kinda off our budget for the mean time. We are willing to spend up to $500 per person for a nice room. We will be staying in Vegas Monday-Friday in May. I just want more opinions. I've research here, but most of them were back in 2000-2006 and I wanted to see if anyone has been there recently in the past months. Thank You

    I do not comprehend why it is necessary to watch television while in the jacuzzi, but if that is the case: Luxor. If it was not, T.I. Either the Tower (930sq ft) or Executive suite (830sq feet): they cost the same. E

I suggest Mandalay Bay / THEhotel, Wynn/Encore and Venetian/Palazzo. Mandalay Bay is the lowest priced luxury resort on the strip. It's just as nice as Bellagio, Wynn and Venetian at about half the price. They can't get away with charging as much as the other luxury resorts because they're at the south end of the strip, and they're also getting old in Las Vegas years where they implode 20 year old buildings. Get a strip view room either at Mandalay Bay or THEhotel. The smallest rooms at Mandalay Bay are 550 square feet and have 2 sinks in the bathroom. The Mandalay Bay guest room bathrooms are almost exactly the same as Encore's guest room bathrooms (I stayed at MB in December 2008 and at Encore in June 2009.) THEhotel is Mandalay Bay's second room tower and all the rooms are suites, starting at 750 square feet. If you can afford it then go for Venetian/Palazzo or Wynn/Encore instead. They're newer properties in a better location, and the rooms are bigger than Mandalay Bay's. I've stayed at Venetian twice, in 2000 and 2002. The main difference is the style of architecture and design. Venetian/Palazzo is all Renaissance style while Wynn/Encore is more of a modern design that relies on themes of the color red and butterflies. People of all ages stay at all the properties. Don't choose a hotel based on the age of the average guest.

The spa suite at the Luxor(Pyramid Tower) has the spa in the bedroom. And it's built up next to the window so you have a great view, very romantic.
