How random are card shuffling machines at casinos?

Do the casinos have the ability to change my payout at the machines if I use my card and they recognize me?

  • How do I know I can totally trust every single casino I go in if I use my card? With modern technology, I think they have that ability and I know it's illegal for them to do that and if they can and do, then what the hell can I do to prove they did it?

    Yeah, what he said. Plus the casinos are legally prohibited from even randomly changing out the payout odds in a machine. The gaming commission has to approve and allow ANY such change to machines in any nevada casino. In addition, most of the casino software that tracks the players play using club cards is not two-way interactive...that is, it is not yet sophisticated enough to do much more than track play, and what's more, even when they do (if ever) get that sophisicated, they cannot at this time change odds on the machines on the fly as your questions suggests they might be able to do. The machines must be opened and the software modified to change payout odds.

They already LEGALLY rig slot machines to favor the casino on every spin and that makes them billions of dollars. Why would they do something illegal and risk losing everything in order to win a tiny amount more? If you lost your money in a machine, just accept the fact that you were unlucky, there was no secret illegal conspiracy that made you lose when you think you "should" have won.
