What are some Nice Places in Vegas?

What are some nice places for me to take my girlfriend to in Las Vegas that wont break the bank?

  • I want to take her out somewhere nice but nothing ridiculous. Any recommendations? Not looking really to spend more than 100 bucks for the two of us. I was thinking a movie at town square and a nice dinner somewhere on the strip.

  • Answer:

Don't know if you are over 21 (both of you anyway)...but if you are thinking "dinner & movie"...here's few quick ideas... -Palms...dinner could be Buffet or Mexican restaurant if you are looking for more affordable...and they have a nice movie theatre there as well...I go there with family fairly often, and even take employees to the buffet or ? when nearby. -Southpoint...they have some nice restaurants there as well...the seafood/oyster bar might be 'more affordable than the fancier "Michael's"...but they have a few options...and a bowling alley AND movie theatre upstairs...always clean and well ran...great property. -Your idea of Town Square is great...maybe hit the dinner first (happy hour at Yardhouse! Caddilac Ranch! are great options...then the movies...then top off the evening 'sharing' a frozen yogurt with your choice of toppings from Yogurtland (right outside the theatre!...followed by a stroll into their park and dining on frozen yogurt on a park bench together. (extra fee to have a film crew follow you around and film your own Romance Flick! lol.) *Just a thought* -Firefly Cafe...has an ecclectic mix of Tapas (small plates) and cool drinks (Sangria, Mojitos, etc) and you never know if some of the 'local performers' that hang out there (think cast of Cirque shows, Peepshow, Jubilee, etc etc)...might even have a 'well known celeb' popping in with them. I've met everyone from David Copperfield, cast from Sopranos, Holly Madison, Coolio, Bill Mahr and even Rachel Ray (a number of celeb chefs too...but this is getting long!). *Movies? It's just on the other side of the 15 fwy to get back/forth to The Palms theatre!?!? (Oh, if you are 'local' Tuesday nights...the Collonade on Eastern/215 and Green Valley Ranch have $5/ticket movie night! ($8.50 for 3-d)

A hidden gem is lunch at Spago's in the Forum Shops, just a few steps out of Ceasar's casino. 4 star service for lunch, no crowd, food is great and me and my wife eat there for about $24 including tip- more of course if you have wine. So you could take her to dinner and a show, then have a nice lunch as well. Several shows are not that expensive.

Best Vegas

Rent a car, go drive to red rock canyon on West Charleston. Fee applies per car load, not per person. Its around $7.00 I think. Movie theaters in The Palms and at Gold Coast on West Flamingo.

That was my final Answer.

I would take her to Red Rock Resorts buffet and then a movie right there at Red Rock
