What happens if you get caught with a fake id in vegas?

  • my friend is 20 and wants to get a fake id for vegas, whats happens if she gets caught at club tao in vegas? Would she get arrested?Would she get fined? Or just have the id taken away?

    Any of the above might happen. At the very least, the ID will be taken away. She'll probably be escorted off the property - which is VERY embarassing, I've seen it done. If the club feels like it, she will be arrested. Then, there's fines and possibly jail time. If you're staying at the hotel, you'll get kicked out. Not to mention, ruining the vacation for everyone in your group. It's not worth it. The big "hot" clubs can spot a fake a mile away.

Depends on what you are trying to do, where you are trying to do it at, and how pissed off the person is she is trying to fool. I can tell you right now, I wouldn't try it at any of the major clubs. The only place that you might get by with it is at a smaller more local place that is not in a hotel. I can guarantee you that she is not the first person that thought they could get by with it.......the big casinos watch for this even closer than most.

Tell her to wait one more year then go to Vegas. It will be more fun and less stressful if she didn't have anything to worry about. Why waste money paying for a vacation only to get nabed the first day and spend the rest of it in jail? If she decides to try it and gets caught, there goes your vacation too. Who do you think she's going to call to bail her out?

Would take the ID, kick her out (with your group) and may contact the local authorities if she was drinking. They really crack down on underage drinking because the alcohol licenses are literally worth millions and they don't want to jeopardize their cash cow for a pittance.
