What are some things to do while in University City?

What kind of things is there to do in Kansas City Mo?

  • Hi im getting ready to attend DeVry University in Kansas City MO this July. I was just wondering what kind of things were their to do like recreation wise. I just wanted to see and if you even happen to attend DeVry in KC what do you think about it?

    Luckily, KC is a manageable city to navigate. You can venture over to the Kansas side as well. :-) If you're into sports, we have the KC Chiefs, the KC Royals and the KC Wizards. The Plaza is quite pretty and has some killer restaurants. If you want to do some serious retail therapy, check out Oak Park Mall. The Legends is fun, as well... The Sprint Center always has something going on (Lady Gaga in August). The Crossroads Arts District offers First Friday art walks. There's also the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Union Station, Crown Center, Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun, the Kansas City Zoo, the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, Cave Spring, the Kansas City symphony and the ballet, among others.

There are 3 things fun, get faded at the power and light district, get faded in Westport, or get funded and feed the fat girls at the Independence mall. Just stand over at the rail above the half sunken food court with a tray full of corn dogs and a herd of them gathers quickly. Kind of like feeding the seals at the zoo fish except you don`t get quite as bad of looks for taking one home and having your way with it.
