Calling international from the US to UK?

What's the international dialling code for calling from UK to USA and USA to UK please?

  • Hello please help me if you can! My boyfriend lives in Indiana USA and I live in South Wales, UK. We want to stay in touch as much as possible till we meet up later in the summer but to do this we got to know the international dialing codes for calling from UK to USA and from USA to UK. Can anyone please help me? Also, does the person recieving the call have to pay a charge to recieve the call cause it's international or not? Thank you very much everyone, Sashula xxxV^^Vxxx

Calling from the UK to USA dial 00-1- XXX- XXX- XXXX (the number will definitely be in this format) Calling from the USA to UK dial 011-44-whatever the number is MINUS the first zero

to call the UK from here it is 011 - 44 The person receiving the call shouldn't have to pay. I believe whoever places the call pays the long distance.

From UK to USA is 001 then the full number. From USA to UK is 011 44, then remove the initial zero from the UK area code and dial the rest of the number.

Hey! my boyfriend is also american and im english.. to call him i put 001 in front of his number. not sure what he has to use to call me-sorry! I recently found out about a website called www.telediscount.co.uk, basically you dial this number first 08448618686 then ur boyf numb and it only charges u the cost of a local call! i have only been using it a few weeks and havent recieved my phone bill yet, so i cant say for sure if it works but friends have assured me it does! and if it saves you money then i say go for it- long distance relationships are very expensive as it is! check out the website!
