    all hispanic school its in a pretty poor area second ward so most likely its a bad school since i last saw it

Well I live about 10 minutes away from the AHS in Sugar Land (my sister graduated class of '07), and I have to say it's pretty excellent as far as public schools go. It does pull from a few not so good areas, but for the most part middle to upper class kids from master planned, deed-restricted communities attend. The school offers a wide variety of clubs and sports, and the dance and band makes it to national level competitions every year. The Student Council and other volunteering clubs have made a pretty effective impact on the community. I believe it was ranked in the top 10 of public schools in the Houston area this year, and was number 2 in Fort Bend ISD.

There's 2 of them, one in Houston proper & one in Sugar Land-20 miles from Houston, the one in Sugar Land is a good school, I've heard less-than-positive about the one in Houston.
