Yeah Hospital would be good. You could call area Animal Shelters. North West Assistance Ministries is a non-profit charity that helps batered Women and families in crisis. Played in their Basketball tourney before and made a few dontaions. For Kids you could call the Y the biggest one is on 249 at Cypress but that seems kind of crazy with how any people go there. Or you could go to my house to watch the 2 and 5 year old and give my 17 year ol daughter a break. Just kidding, told her Im gonna be nice this summer and let her have more fun. You can look up Senior centers close to you and give them a call or even day cares. Just start writing down phone numbers of the different ones that sound good and go down the list and call. Tell them your just inquring right now so you dont feel your being pressured to commit. GL and have a good summer.

those are basically the 3 most popular people/things to volunteer with. I volunteered with the Houston SPCA (on katy freeway) one summer. there is an application and orientation. You can show up whenever you want...sign in on a computer. I helped out with the small dog area...helped clean up the poo and helped people look at dogs. I dont know if things have changed since.
