Where is the best place for shopping in Madrid?

What is the best place for shopping in Houston ??

  • I am going to Houston in June and I wanna spend one day on shopping. So, I'd like to find a big shopping center with nice prices in Houston. Basically, I wanna find the best place for shopping :)) Thanks for your help !!!!!!!

  • Answer:

The Galleria and Uptown Park (2 blocks to the North) have the finest selection of upscale stores and restaurants in the city. This beautiful mall is my second choice, because the prices are a tad high, but if your budget is not a problem---go here! The new discount mall in Tomball (about 40 minutes to the Northest of Houston) is large, but the prices aren't that discounted. In my opinion, unless you're in that area it's a toss up as to whether it's worth the drive. Katy Mills Mall is huge (a 1 1/2 mile indoor circle of stores). It does have some good discount stores like Off Saks Fifth Avenue, but it's all relative. A $450.00 skirt, can be purchased for a mere $150, if you know what I mean. This mall is out west on I-10 in Katy, Texas (about a 17 mile drive). But it is definitely my third favorite mall. I personally like the Memorial City Mall, which I consider the best all around mall in town, mid-price range stores. This is my favorite mall in the city because of the selections of stores, the proximity to where I live, and just simply enjoy shopping there. Although, it is crowed---a very popular place. The Woodlands Mall is very, very nice and if you're in that area of town, by all means visit and shop there. The Sugar Land area mall is also nice if you're in the South part of the city. I hope this helps you.

Like the previous two answerers, my preference is also Memorial City. They have a variety there that is hard to beat. I usually mallwalk in there when I get the chance. Markups are not nearly as high as the Galleria. I go there because the mall is a mile and a half away from home. Word to the wise, use the parking garages as the lots are always full. Katy Mills is a great outlet mall. Worth the trip through the Katy Freeway construction. Bass Pro shop and the Ralph Lauren store can't be beat.

Go to the Grapevine Mills mall, it has sooo many shops. It isnt exactly in Houston, but not far away. Next best is the Galleria close to downtown, but they are a little pricey.

Katy Mills Mall is pretty good.

There is a new outlet center that just opened--in fact, not all shops are open yet. It's pretty nice with a good variety of shops. Here's a link to some information about it. http://houston.about.com/b/2008/03/27/houstons-new-outlet-mall-opens-today.htm

I hate malls but my girls love Memorial City Mall. Perfect for teens; PacSun, Forever 21, Hollister, Abercrombie, etc.

Memorial City has the best deals like forever 21, Pac Sun, ect, but if you are looking a little more high end I would suggest the Galleria--it has Saks 5th Ave. Nordstrom, Bebe, all that good stuff

I like Memorial City, Katy Mills and The Galleria. Although, The Galleria is more expensive, it is a huge mall with every store you can imagine, ice skating, and many restaurants. It's more of a touristy place.
