Can you take a stroller and a a carry on bag in an airplane?

you can check the stroller at the gate, meaning the gate agent will give you a special tag that will allow you to bring the stroller to the aircraft door, it will be brought down with the cargo for the flight, and when you land the baggage handlers will bring it back up to the aircraft door. just be sure to let the gate agent know. And yes you can also bring a carry on bag. remember to bring some snacks, airlines have really cut back on their food services! good luck!

I ditto exactly what the last person said....especially the part about bringing snacks! That way you know you have something your little one will/can eat. I also recommend getting your own bottle of water to bring on with you once you have gone through security. Better to be safe than sorry.

The stroller will be checked at the door of the plane. You won't have to wait at baggage claim for it.

i would be more concerned about your kid making a fuss while in the air. there is nothing more annoying than being stuck on a plane with a screaming kid. *Edit* well, i guess you are one of the few parents i rarely run into at the airport that dont have their blessings running around, screaming, and ruining my vacation. congrats to you that your kid is better behaved, but just understand for every one of you there are three more waiting to scream the whole flight. airfare prices being what they are and the hassle it is to fly now, people arent taking too kindly to anyone being annoying during the flight, adult or child.
