Answer:
I know that now a parent can teach you to drive and you can get licensed in Texas that way, along with the written test. But your parent will have to provide documentation of your progress and hours. One person who might know about that is your school counselor, or he or she can give you a number to call. You might try to do an online search through the Texas site. There are many other students with your same problem. Good luck.... from a fellow Houstonian.

i have seen the Sears store have drivers ed classes. im not sure how they work, but they would be worth looking in to. otherwise, if you dont have the time now or your parents cant do it, wait until the summer break and learn then.

Driver's Ed in a box is great if you have an adult who will commit to doing your driving time with you. Otherwise, Houston Area Driving School has alot of different times you could attend. The teachers there are awesome too. One taught my daughter, for no extra charge, to drive a stick on his day off.

on-line drivers ed wouldn't be in your best interest. the written test would be okay, but in order to know how to drive, you have to PRACTICE at it!!! My dad brought to drivers ed manual home and we practiced driving everyday, to and from work and school and in my spare time, I studied the manual, and passed the first time I took the test. let your parents help you. It's cheaper, and you will learn much more, and you can probably take the test quicker(depending on who's willing to drive you to the DMV). Good luck!

I would do the DRIVERS ED. Learn to drive leave the job. Because when you know how to drive you can go any where, and to any job you want!! :D Trust me. But good luck MATE
